Celebrating the power of storytelling as a strategic and impactful way of delivering important messages for islanders across the globe, this event will comprise the first public screening of young filmmaker Matt Stockreiter’s short film entitled “Grand Cayman”.
This 30-minute documentary which Matt created during his course at Falmouth University highlights a range of conservational challenges facing the Cayman Islands, which includes endangered mangrove trees and struggling numbers of Blue Iguanas. Matt Stockreiter, a native of the island of Guernsey, employed patient camerawork and interwoven narratives to artistically present the vulnerable biodiversity in the beautiful island of Grand Cayman. The session will also include a directors Q&A and a panel discussion featuring notable industry experts.
