About College of Arts and Social Sciences, Marinduque State University

The School of Arts and Sciences or SAS, primarily aims to strengthen instruction in General Education (GE) subjects and to offer Arts and Sciences – related courses. After undergoing several changes over the years since its establishment in 1995, the present-day School of Arts and Sciences is now home to students specializing in three different fields.

The College aims to produce globally competitive and adaptive graduates with high ethical standards of professionalism and synergistic service in the fields of Arts and Social Sciences necessary for the concerted effort of attaining sustainable development of the province and the country as a whole.
